This seems very strange for several reasons. Firstly Goans are running away
from Goa , they do not want to invest in their own mother land, they do not
participate in active politics, are few of such examples, which has allowed
others to come in.
Several beaches in india do attract many other tourists and since Goa is
promoting tourism we will certainly have tourist flocking to enjoy the
beautiful beaches of Goa.
The title of Goans turning away from Beaches is not a healthy one it could be
misinterpreted and create chaos just like some politicians in Maharashtra who
are shouting that Mumbai should be only for Mumbaikars.At times most of the
problems are created by the media which is very sad.
I have never read in any Goan news paper whereby reporters pleading to Goenkars
to come back and invest , protect the save Goa but it's always the opposite.
Goenkars are turning away from the beaches not because of overwhelming tourist
and tourist related businesses but due to their own mind set and negative
thinking , but not all goans think it the way the media has projected it , many
Goenkars are broad minded and embrace good and positive development.The chaos
at the beaches is not because of tourist but due to lack of law and order, sort
that out first and the rest will automatically fall in place.
Please let's not have another Maharashtra in Goa this is my request to NT TEAM
who wrote this article in the newspaper , on the contrary support and encourage
Goenkars to come back that should be the medias positive step.
Last but not the least , Goenkars there is nothing better than giving back to
the planet and your eternal mother that is the beautiful GOA, so come back and
invest and you will witness it for yourself.
