As reported in the media, CCP Commissioner Sanjeev Gadekar was transferred
by Mayor Tony Rodrigues, for his bid to raze St. Inez Slums. Can I request
Panjim Residents to share their views on the same?
I suspect that the transfer was done to protect migrant vote banks of
specific politicians; in which case it is High Time that Goans face up to
this challenge & stop this clear manipulation of democracy. Migrant Vote
banks are a lifeline for our corrupt politicians and helps these
politicians continue with the looting & destruction of Goa.
Peoples movements as started in many parts of Goa vs. Mega Housing Projects;
we need to also urgently focus in an organised/civilised manner on political
vote banks in all parts of Goa; including the migrant votebank of Goa's
Chief Minister in Margao.
