Excerpts: The feminist pioneer and writer Rosalina Filomena da Cunha was
born in Santa Cruz, Goa 1908.  The Municipal Library of Alcobaça hosts a
celebration  on 18 May, the centenary of her birth ...  [She died in 2006,
aged 98 years] and lived in Alcobaça for several decades … The highlight
will be the release of new editions of some of her works… 219 words.

Filomena da Cunha studied at Cambridge University and Trinity College of
Music in the 1920’s.  She went to Goa in the 1930’s, wrote for the Herald
and campaigned for women’s rights. For more about see

I am uncertain if she died in 2006 or 2007.  Can you help, please?
