There are various mansions to be seen in Goa.
The Figueiredo house is in Loutulim. Part of the house has been converted
into a Heritage Inn. There is also the Costa house and a house belonging to
the Barreto Miranda which has been sold. In Margao there is the 'Silva'
House. Chinchinim has also a beautiful house belonging to Max Loyola
Furtado.
If you meander through villages in Goa, particularly Aldona one can see
beautiful homes eg, Amelia and Damasceno Soares house, Alarico and Veronica
Mascarenhas house as well as La Martine Rocha.
Another exquisite house is the Mascarenhas Palace in Anjuna which is leased
to Lady Hamyln.
In Santa Cruz there is the Nachinolkar house as well as Kenkre. A wonderful
visit is to Jitendra Desprabhu's palace at Pernem.
