John, One - every successful mass movement draws on people with a variety of skills & talents. No one person is vested with all the required attributes. I do not have what it takes to be a leader of a mass campaign. My contribution is that of a foot soldier, in the spirit best described by Einstein: "To those serving hands, mine also shall belong." Two - it would be foolhardy to anoint any one person as the saviour of Goa and repose all your faith in him or her. That would be setting ourselves up for a potential disaster down the line (witness the current fiasco in the GBA). The cult of personalities has to be avoided at all costs. We need a team of good leaders, not any one installed emperor. We are up against cunning, ruthless, and cash-rich adversaries both from within Goa and without, within the government and without. They will employ every device at their disposal to break the back of any united resistance to their designs on Goa (again, I point you to the current GBA mess). Regards, r
