I have read the GT report.
But I don't detect any warmth, neither in that report, nor on the
charming/smiling face - heart of the GBA Convenor.
I, along with the entire Goa want to believe Dr. Oscar Rebello that GBA is
really united.
Hope he really means what he has said.
Contrary to what Dr. Oscar Rebello has said in his brief report (GT), I
strongly believe that:
Goa will be united if Goans unite, leaving aside their personal agendas and
agendas of their media/builder cronies and politician friends.

This is the text of the Press report. In the "plug" of the report the
word "will" is missing, perhaps inadvertently ..... even in a
cut-n-paste job.
There is an Op-Ed column of Mario Cabral e Sa on page A8 of the same
GT, giving the senior journalist's take on the issues that apparently
dogged the GBA recently.
The Herald page 6 has the Op-Ed by the former Editor of GT , Sujay
Gupta, who is back in Goa as a Consultant Ediitor on the need for
unity in the CSO .... for Goa's sake. I am in the process of obtaining
its soft copy and putting it on the net. My former Editor [he
introduced my column in the GT although we met for the first time only
after he left the GT a year later!] and I share many similar views. I
met him recently in Moira, where Venita Coelho [of "Jassi Jaise Koi
Nahin" fame] brought various forums together one evening under one
umbrella ... before the rains even started! ;-) All is well that
proceeds well.
No personal comment from me. All you folks are smarter than you think!
