One wonders whether the Digambar Kamat government in Goa which professes to care for the Aam Aadmi is going all out to save the skin of rich and well connected politicians.
After having withdrawn the criminal case pending against former Minister Mr. Somnath Zuwarkar the Goa government is now making a further mockery of the judicial process by trying to withdraw the serious criminal cases pending against former Union Law Minister Mr. Ramakant Khalap and former MLA Mr. Jitendra Deshprabhu also under the guise of so-called public interest and public good as done in the Somnath Zuwarkar case. Is the stage being set to draw the curtain on the criminal case pertaining to the infamous 2001 fake one day international cricket ticket scam pending against the Law Minister Dayanand Narvekar and the remaining charges pending against former Minister and now Deputy Speaker of Goa's Legislative Assembly Mr. Mauvin Godinho.
