Dear Goankars,

We are all aware of the "adopted aunt" who was normally the mistress of the Goan husband and his "adopted children" who were children borne by the "mistress"

The wife who was normally, not very highly educated, just "kept quiet" while the husband had his fun.

Today, thanks to the empowerment and education of women, darling husband who "fools around with other women" now gets his divorce papers in the morning along with his morning "bed tea".

Fr. Mendes and Fr. Rodrigues and every psychiatrist, should now teach our Goan men, that the role of a goan husband does not start and end after birth of each child. Infact, young goan school boys must be educated right at school-level on the role of husband and father.

If our young, goan men are given good jobs right here in Goa, there will not be a break-down in the marriage and for this, our catholic priests should get involved.

Regards,
