One of the standard charge against Christiano Ronaldo is that he scores heaps of goals against lower ranked teams but comes a cropper against the stronger ones. Ronaldo will have the opportunity to prove himself to his critics once again when Portugal takes on Germany in the Euro 08 quarter finals. This will be difficult as he is likely to find himself heavily marked in this game, just as Zidane was by Materazzi in the FIFA World Cup Finals.
Hopefully, for the sake of Portugal and all its fans, Ronaldo will let his feet do all the talking, will ignore the "Pakle burr" remarks and will use his head only for scoring goals, not for anything else! My Prediction is 2-1 in favour of Portugal. Cheers! Sandeep
