Panjim, Taleigao and the neighbouring areas have been ravaged by illegal land conversions, mega-projects etc by the likes of the Montserrates & their cronies. I was wondering why the Good Citizens were silent and allowing such people to ruin Goa and particularly their villages & cities. Was it the few pieces of Silver? Or was is it intimidation? Nevertheless I am very pleased to know that the Taleigao Bachao Abhiyan has been formed to tackle these corrupt gang, right in the their own nest. For too long, these corrupt politicians were allowed a free run; *time* has now come to stop them.
