“GULAB” Silver Jubilee, August 15, 2008
“GULAB” the only standard Konkani language monthly magazine published in Goa
has approximately 40,000 readerships in Goa, Mumbai, Mangalore, Gulf States,
Canada, U.K., U.S.A., Australia and other countries. It has onboard prominent
guest writers covering social, cultural, arts, among others issues with an
encouraging attitude for promoting new talents.
Kala Mogui Kuwait will be hosting the Silver Jubilee function and will
felicitate some of the prominent personalities of Konkani literature for their
dedicated service during the Konkani Literary Awards Ceremony in Kuwait on
August 15, 2008. On this occasion we shall proudly commemorate the 61st
Independence Day of India.
A special issue of “GULAB” and a colorful souvenir will be published focusing
Goan/Magalorean organizations in Kuwait (Socials, Cultural, Arts, Sports) and
prominent personalities among the community. In view of this, we will be highly
grateful if you assist us in supporting towards the cause of “GULAB” and our
mother tongue Konkani.
