There is no mention how he created a woman. Perhaps this is the reason why a woman carries no caste label other than be an appendage to her father, husband and son when she is a dauthter, wife and widow respectively. But the brahmin was not happy, he wanted to make sure his ''superiority''reigned for many generations to come so he applied the navel principle to divide castes further. So it came to pass that those who were born from above the navel parts of the Good God i.e. mouth and arms were called upper castes (brahmins and kshatriyas) and those who were born from his below the navel parts i.e. thighs and feet were called lower castes ( vaisyas and sudras) Antonio
