Dear Goanetters, A half day seminar on "The Right Move II - Career in Sports" organized by the International Centre Goa in association with the Taleigao Chess Academy on 10 July 2008 at 9:30 am at the Centre's premises at Dona Paula. This is the first seminar in the series of seminars to be organized in different parts of Goa with the aim of drawing a roadmap of preparations for the National Games-2011. The seminars will focus on the theme of employment opportunities in the field of sports for the youth of Goa and how to enhance our capabilities of competition.
The proceedings of the seminar will be published in the form of a book "Right Move II" which will be released during the 'All Goa Primary School Students' Chess Tournament – 2009' to be held from 24-26 January 2009 at the International Centre Goa. The book 'Right Move I' was released during the last tournament held in January this year. The seminar will be divided into 2 sessions in which the discussions will be initiated by eminent persons followed by seeking opinion, observations, comments and suggestions on the above mentioned theme. The seminar will be beneficial to sports-persons as well as those who are promoting sports in different capacities. Invitations has been sent to President and Secretaris of 35 Sports Associations in Goa.
