I was refering to yesterday's new headline on the subject matter by the NGO BAILANCHO SAAD Yes, Casinos are not welcome in Goa but Matka gambling is fine? Matka Gambling is welcome in Goa because it is 'aam aadmi and aam aurat ka khell'? Who we are protectecting? the Rich or the Poor? Is it alright that common man waste his or her hard earned money? It looks like police & politicians go hand in hand with NGOs. By not doing anything to stop Matka in Goa, we are helping only the police and the ministers who get their huge regular hafta at the cost of aam aadmi and aam aurat. As said several times, Goa's aam aurat plays Matka too. He won Rs.5000. Next day he came to claim his money he found the gadda is closed. Next day it was closed too. 3rd day young boy was found but he said 'patrao' is out of station. There was naother guy who came to claim his money. One week later my friend returned back to UK and he got not a single penny from the winnings. Later on we found out that the person who accepted the bet from the gadda is notorious for his disappearing acts. We lose if we don't win. We lose even if we win and that's Matka.
