To Goanet - Times of India (Goa Edition) reports that the Russian consulate in Mumbai has issued a warning to the Goa govt about blacklisting Goa as a reaction to the perceived mistreatment of Russian citizens in Goa. I hope (well, one is allowed to fantasize occasionally) that Digu will tell the Russian govt to go stuff it. All the Russian flotsam that has washed up in Morjim and elsewhere should be asked to pack up and go back.
In another news item, this time in the toilet paper known as Navhind Times, the GCCI is complaining that investors are staying away from Goa. If true, this is cause for cheer. We Goans should do everything in our power to keep it that way. We don't need "industry" in Goa - "industry," in the sense understood by GCCI, politicians, and if truth be told, many of the dodos who populate Goanet. Warm regards, r
