Soter, India used a special law to liberate Goa from Portuguese so as to?
protect us and save our Land.As Nehru had sleepless nights due to guilty
concious, he assured Goans that their? culture and Identity will be preserved.
He made sure that he would honor his promise by deputing the Delhi Babus to
safeguard interest of Goa and Goans.
But,as these Babus were not Goans and had no clue about its people and
culture, had altogether different plans for Goa and you can see the New
Indianised Goa.Mind you,these Babus are still? a force to rckon with. Many of
them have become backroom operators with their umbilical cords still tied to
Delhi. They along with other deputitionists (Thanks to Bandodkar),also have
been very good tutors to our local Babus and Politicians. ?
You, being born and lived in Goa all your life time, has no right to discuss
anything pertaining to Goa.Delhi and Non-Goans will decide what is good and
what is bad for Goa. After all, you are living in the Worlds biggest
democracy,where the majority count, and you are outnumbered as a Goan .
If you say anything about preserving Goan Culture and Identity, you will be
called an Anti-national and? Pro-Portuguese. Some people even think that this
myth of? Goan Culture and Identity is a Catholic FANTACY!? To them, all i say
is, find out WHO? VOTED FOR THE? OPINION POLL.
