Goa is a so small and could have been ideally managed. It comes as no
suprise that our State has been rated as the most corrupt amongst small
states. We have too many politicians that Goa can do without. Leaders
should
have a vision and know where they are heading and leading their flock. As
Politics governs everything in our society it would be pertinent to work
towards changing the very way politics is played.
Our politicians though pledge to uphold the Indian Constitution use every
possible dubious tactic and manoeuvre to achieve their goals by subverting
the provisions of the Constitution to their benefit. Thank God these
politicians were not entrusted the job of drafting the constitution.
Governments in power should act with responsibility and not wait for the
Courts to intervene and crack the whip on every illegality they commit.
Its high time the politicians are well versed with the old saying "Be you
ever so high, the law is above you".
