Dear Freddy,
However much commendable the thought and concern for Goa that you have
portrayed in this post may be, I do not think the solution that you have
suggested will work either.
On the contrary, Goa will get new hungry hyenas to replace the hungry
wolves. It is better to remain with the hungry wolves in the hope that they
will have gorged themselves enough to let go of the frantic tearing away of
the sinues of Goa to feed themselves, and in so doing slow down and rest
awhile to give the people of Goa some space to take a deep breath and relax
with the hope these fattened wolves die, one after another, of heart
attacks from this long-drawn overfeeding.
There is no doubt that a virgin set of legislators must be placed on the
floor of the Goa Legislative Assembly. But they must belong to a new,
disciplined, system of governance, where the system is written down and
wetted by the people, not allowing these new guys and gals to move on their
own but controlled all the time.
Such a system already exists, a system where SELF-SACRIFICE is written all
over it. The question is: Are there any takers? Slowly but surely we shall
come to know the extent of the willingness of our dear Goans who shout
hoarse wanting a change for the better to try it out. For your kind

The Congress Party MLA's are become famous for filling their pockets in
the name
of development of Goa. I am sure that the only way to clean Goan Politics
and
have good governance is by getting all new faces in the Assembly, not even
one
from the present list of MLA's should be brought back in to power, as even
one
rotten apple will affect the other good apples. Doesn't Goa have decent 40
young
guys who are capable of running a clean government ? Why should we see
the same
old corrupt faces year after year of so long ? . Come on Goa wake up.
So my dear Goan brothers and sisters at the next election show these power
and
money hungry vultures that we do mean business. They do deserve a big
kick up
their back side and it's high time, we give them exactly what they
deserve.
