TO HDFC BANK
Today we received the first ever circular 'Greeting From HDFC Bank' by Rahul N
Bhagat, (Country Head) saying CBOP is merged with HDFC Bank on 23rd May, 2008.
>From the circular, we also come to know..
- HDFC = Housing Deveopment Finance Corporation promoted in 1995.
- HDFC Bank (post Merger), is the largest Private sector bank in the country.
- 11 million customers
- 1100 branches
- Over 2350 ATMs across India.
The circular also mentioned some of the important changes to our Bank Accounts:
Charges:
It says 'Please find enclosed, the HDFC Services and Charges Brochure eff 1st
Oct 2008'.
Again,
Terms & Conditions:
It says "We have enclosed the revised Terms and Conditions..."
In both the above cases, there were no ENCLOSURES at all.
Just a one page circular received.
