Dear Brothers and sisters
We have been celebrating Mary's feast from January to December but these are
mere rituals. Why do you give these feast so much of importance ? I would
celebrate just one feast of Mary in one year and will try to imbe her ways into
my life.
Who was Mary ? She was just a person like you and me who was selected by God to
be the mother of Jesus and Mary humble accepted God's plan. Be it done .....Are
you and I following God's plan ? In Genesis God has clearly given us His plan.
Increase and multiple and fill the earth. What are you doing ? You follow human
plan, the plan put by the doctors and the Govt. Have one or two . Small family
happy family. When we have just two children we plan lot of things for them. We
slog both husband and wife to make lot of money forgetting that children are
human beings made of emotions and other factors. Though your child is longing
for you beloved mother you have no time for it as a result your child becomes a
vagabond, a drug addict, visitor of bars and disco etc etc. When things go very
bad you realise that your boat has hit the rocks and gone into the deep sea.
The second thing that Mary followed was concern for others. Visit to her cousin
Elizabeth, Miracle at Cana. Where do we have time to show concern for others ?
We do not care for our parents in their old age. We do not care for our
children and prefer to work in the offices even in the last stage of pregancy.
we do not show any concern for anyone in this world or else the courts would
not be filled with cases .Show Love to Mary and Jesus by action and not by show.
