That is not true...Now adays there are more enquires everywhere if anybody is selling his property, so they get a 2% cut on the deal they hope to make. I have been flooded with offers from goans.

For that matter, I have a 2BR apartment for sale, close to Colva and NO its not ancestral. Bought with my earnings so i have the rights to sell, as I plan to buy land. If any goans are interested do let me know!!

 Dear goanetters,

Any goan residing in goa, will be unhappy with goans selling off their property, as this leads to more poverty-stricken goans and also poses a security risk for Goa.

Let us listen to concerned goans like Mervyn and others.

Our ancestral homes are places of history, where neighbours will tell you about the habits and personalities of your foreparents. These are places where our ancestors, got married, raised children, spent time chatting with the wife and maybe the mistress, played with their children, and worked hard, to give us a better life, etc. What do some goans do with this wonderful inheritance? They just sell it, instead of GIFTING IT TO THEIR CHILDREN . Very sad
