Dear Francis,
Despite having spent my life in diaspora, this is one Goan trait that I've
carried with me everywhere. I love it. I just do it with any word, especially
when I'm talking to my husband or daughter. It's a very bonding exercise. You
can't be fighting when you're doing reduplicatives :-)
My favourite are:
Shampoo-pammpoo
and
Cooking-booking
