Since when is Vagator-Anjuna so madly in love with Mopa so as to have a Mopa
Airport Action Committee headquartered there?
Mopa is about 65 km from Dabolim ...that is the same distance Bangalore airport
[BIAL at Devanhalli] form Bangalore City! With a 110 km distance
between Terekhol [Tiracol] and Palolem there is no place lie "far away" in Goa.

If Mopa goes ahead, Goa will cease to be. The last
sanctuary of the civilized, pleasant living in India
I fear that insidious attempts to debilitate opposition
to Mopa have been initiated (see letter in today's
Herald). The ploy will be to cast it as a
North Goa v/s South Goa divide, with the claim
that South Goa (you know what that is a code
word for) wants to stand in the way of a prosperous
North Goa (you know what that stands for). There
are enough dunderheads available on either side
to take the bait.
