Pic 1 You will see a double storey structure with staircase to go up (viewing gallery) Pic 2 External/Frontal view with viewing gallery Pic 3 Inside the four walls, you see this Caxao. It seems the Coffin is lying there since 1935 Pic 4 Inscription plate in Portuguese Some one please translate into English As a child (about 7), I remember viewing this and since then I never forgot about it. Many from the present generation (even those around Colva) not even aware of it (that there exist a caxao). I always wanted to know who she is? I always wanted to know what’s inside the coffin? Would appreciate if some one say something on it. I think I did try to seek info here few years ago but no one came forward. I also remember that one could view the Caxao through the round holes all sides. Now blocked and only available to view from one side through the door/gate. I also remember the structure was out in the open but now it has come into the extended cemetery. Check this out..
