No news about a "crack developed on (the) Selaulim dam" but we *are* having heavy rains here.
The Department of Information and Publicity announced that the District Magistrict (South) has restricted vehicular traffic on National Highway 4A (Panjim to Belgaum) at Anmod Ghat, beyond the Mollem Check Post, due to a landslide in the morning Saturday. Digital Goa (a paid news service) has reported: * Train services on Goa-Londa route suspended due to landslide (Aug 9). * Rains put normal life out of gear across Goa. Lots of trees uprooted, many fallen on houses. Three injured in Sanvordem. Roads and houses flooded in some parts. * Two major highways linking Goa with rest of the country closed at Banda and Anmod due to waterlogging and landslides. * Water levels of rivers and dams rising.
