'AITARACHEO KATKUTLEO' - A compilation of Konkani humour essays will be
released on 8th September 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the hands of veteran Konkani
author and social worker Shri Damodar Mauzo (Bhai) at Our Lady of Lourdes
School-Hall at Utorda.
The book is the first by the Kuwait-based author Lino B. Dourado who is also
a well known Konkani poet.
Born in Utorda, he did his early education at St. Anthony's Majorda and
completed Mechanical degree course at ITI Farmagudi, Goa. Lino's writings
and poems in Konkani and English have been published in several newspapers,
periodicals and magazines including O'Heraldo, Gulab, Cine Times, Navhind
Times, The Goan Review, Jivit, PoddBimb, V-Ixtt and Kuwait's Arab Times and
The Kuwait Times.
Lino is well known on several Goan and Mangalorean Forums and his popularity
has been phenomenal on www.goa-world.com, www.goanet.org,

e-Newsletter. A gifted composer, playwright, Lino is the managing committee
member of United Club of Utorda-Kuwait and a member of the www.goa-world.com

day to day happenings penned by him.
