Dears, Now that the Water Department has laid an illegal water pipeline laid on Moira Bridge, I have filed an RTI petition requesting information regarding the bridge.
My motives have been questioned and typically, the epithet 'mad' which stereotypes us Moidekars have been bandied about. Don't you want water in a water scarce village? Certainly I do. There is a little matter of getting priorities right - a damaged bridge will cause untold hardships for months on end and will hit a vital nerve, transportation of people and goods; temporarily, till the pipe line issue is settled, tankers can be used to augment water supply.
