Darwin asked: Why does God create life so that it can be eaten by another? I don't mean man eating cows etc. Darwin meant wasps laying their eggs in another insect which paralyses that insect so that it can be eaten by the wasps' young after they are hatched. A miserable and painful death for the insect, at the same time the insect knowing that it is being eaten can do nothing because it is paralysed. ED.
