It may be better to debate and go in with eyes wide open than get collectively screwed in a blissful state of ignorance. Sure it is about money. What's wrong with that? It is also about making an intellectual effort when there is an opportunity and trying to ensure transparency and accountability on the part of those "few" whoever they may be.
