Panaji: The Speaker of the Goa Assembly today ruled that home minister Ravi Naik should not respond to the Bihar court, if he is summoned in connection with his remarks on Biharis made during a special session. The issue figured during the state legislative assembly session today when the Home minister himself pointed out to the news item in a local newspaper. The news item mentioned that a Patna court on Wednesday admitted a petition against a Goa minister for his alleged anti-Bihari remarks that there will be more beggars in the coastal state if trains linking it to Patna were introduced. Chief Judicial Magistrate Raghavendra Singh admitted the petition filed by an advocate Ram Sandesh Singh against Naik and transferred it to the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Sarabjit for hearing.
