Goans should welcome the call by Mr. Mathany Saldanha, for Special Status to Goa. This is long overdue and has to be addressed immediately. I request all Goans including the NRI's to start taking necessary action, to add momentum to the same. Gram Sabhas & Peoples movements across Goa should pass resolutions, demanding that the Goa Government pursues the same urgently with the Centre. With a Massive Goan Effort, I am positive that we can achieve the required Special Status for Goa. Laws and Legislations should be made for the people of the land and not vice-versa.
