Government of Maharashtra has submitted the proposal for "in-principle" approval.> No disclosure of the thrust of the Goa committee's report. Presumably it has not been submitted formally yet. Then what was Kamat's visit to Delhi about? I feel that although kamat talks bravely about the airport decision being ultimately the state's responsibility it will only sign on the dotted line as per Ministry of Civil Aviation. The latter, GOG and Navy all want an international airport there. Dabolim's future looks bleak. And Goans are least bothered. Pity.
