I am sure like me a lot of other people too had voted for The Congress

evil compared to the communal BJP, but now I know there is no difference
between them, two sides of the same coin. Of late The BJP seem to have changed
their tune regarding mining and thats most probably to boost their vote
bank, all the agitations against mining and mega projects have just been rose
water effect, in their mucky eyes. I am sure we Goans have learnt from our
mistakes and will not fall prey to these forward and backward flips.

I preume you are based outside India and hence are insulated from happenings
there. I invite your kind attention to the various postings here on Goanet on
events in Orissa. Please also read the latest issue of Outlook and Tehelka. If
after reading all this you are convinced that the BJP has changed so far as its
attitude to minorities are concerned, then I am the King of France. Remember a
Leopard never changes its spots.

Yes I do agree that the Congress has let people down badly. That is why in the
past I have suggested that the people of Goa should have a serious look at the
Goa Suraj Party of Floriano. With the people's support, political miracles are
possible. Who would have imagined that the Janata Party, a conglomeration of
disparate opposition parties would have dethroned and vanquished the great
dictator Indira Gandhi in 1977? Not a single newspaper or opinion poll gave
Mayawati a chance in UP in 2007. Yet they did it with people's power and
support. If the people of Goa truly love their motherland it is time for them
to cast their vote for GSP to show where their heart lies.
