If this trend of attacks continue...i am sure nobody would like to visit a country and in the long run Goa would loose on the tourism. Also mostly EU people are catholics and this will put a negative image of India as a secular democratic nation.

I hope peace loving Hindu's will condemn these attacks on religious lines or its not far that the world will think India is just like Pakistan.

Terror attacks delay Goa's chartered flight season

Panaji (PTI): Terror attacks in Ahmedabad and Delhi have affected Goa's
tourism industry with its chartered flight season postponed by another
week, experts feel.

The first chartered flight, Minar which was supposed to land at Dabolim
airport in Goa from Moscow on September 27 has cancelled its trip
holding up the season to next month.

''That was the only chartered flight expected in this month. Rest will
start coming from October,'' TTAG President Ralf D'Souza said.

''Even in October there are 14 landings expected but many of them are
not confirmed,'' he added.

However, the State tourism department feigned innocence on the delay.
''We expect the first chartered flight to arrive in September end. We
have no information about any cancellation,'' Tourism Director Elvis
Gomes said.
