Morad Ahmed, Chief Town Planner, lies in his teeth. In a talk recorded by Prudent Media, he tells activists of Ganv Ghor Rakhonn Manch (GGRM) that a plan which is technically sound has to be passed. Here he lies in his teeth.
The plan of the proposed Acron project in Moira has been passed even though the plan has been fudged. For one thing the slope is beyond permissible limits and so there has to be hill cutting. On the other hand the Panchayats keep telling the people that if a plan is submitted to them, they have to submit it to the TCP Dept; and that it is for the TCP to reject faulty plans. So the merry go round starts with the people caught in the middle with nowhere to go!
