Mr Alemao exhorted the CM to act fast as the problem has reached such proportions, that the builders may even resort to suicide, which will only give the government a bad name. The villagers across the state have been opposing mega projects, however, till date, the term mega project has not been clearly defined, hence, we need to find the proper definition for the same. Secondly, the builders should also adhere to all the terms and conditions like taking care of sewerage, etc and not cause any hardships to the villagers, he observed and added that should the builders violate the laws, then those complexes (building, houses etc) should be demolished." It now looks like the entire team is financed by them and much more. I remember when I first heard that Churchill Bab had joined politics, most of Goa was happy thinking, here comes The MAN of the masses, but over the years those aspirations, have now turned in to nightmares and he has indeed proved that he is as impotent as the rest of his comrades or even worse and any form of Viagra will be of no help as far as welfare of Goa and Goans is concerned. He is now more worried about the welfare of the builders than the welfare of Goa and Goans, he is more worried about the builders committing suicide and the Government getting a bad name. Aree Churchill Bab to get a bad name, you must have to have a good name first, does the Congress have a good name ? You must be joking ??? oh I forgot it might be misunderstood !!!!! Why do we need the term "mega projects" to be redefined ? If you change the definition, will the end result change ? Or are you trying to turn and twist words like the "black coats" in a court to give a new dimension, to the whole fiasco in the name of development ? Talking about demolition of illegal structures, try to start in Varca it's self under your very nose, all the Hotels, illegal encroachments and extensions. You show your ignorance as far as sewerage is concerned, how will the builders get rid of the sewerage and the garbage ? Will they truck it to "sonsdo" or your house ? The garbage and the sewerage is the responsibility of the government departments and should be planned and put in place before any mega project takes off. Hope you have understood what I am saying. First get the basic amenities and infrastructure in place then only go for the development, don't try to cook what you have already eaten, it could be fatal !!!!
