Congress leaders terrorize villagers with government machinery in Maina – Quepem

Goa’s Local Congress who include a Minister in the state government, a leader 
of the Goa Youth Congress, and a member of the Zilla Parishad who are in the 
business of destroying the environment in the talukas of Sanguem and Quepem in 
South Goa have unleashed terror on the villagers of Maina – Quepem using 
government machinery. 

According to reports Ms. Cheryl de Souza from Maina – Quepem a widow, her 
Eighty-Five  year (85)old mother-in-law, Nine (9) year old daughter, and their 
domestic help have been arrested by Quepem Police this afternoon while 
exercising their democratic right of protesting the destruction of the 
environment by the Congressmen. 

Seby Rodrigues (the Naxalite according to Manohar Parrikar) has also been 
arrested.

To Protest the terror tactics of the congressmen on the villagers who are 
fighting for their “RIGHT TO LIFE” as guaranteed under Art. 21 of the 
Constitution. The “RIGHT TO LIFE” includes – Right to Clean AIR and WATER.

9-year-old girl and her 85 - year-old Grandmother.
