Dear Goanetters, Late last month the issue of Goanet moderation was raised and subsequently Goanetters were allowed to share their views on this issue. We'd like to thank you feedback. Those threads have now run their course and there's been nothing new to add. I am, therefore, closing the following threads:
Open Letter to Goanet Goanet Moderation And related threads It would appear that some of you who were highly critical of moderation have your own personal agendas. You've made this clear on other forums. If it is the moderation you're concerned about you've made you point. We've heard everything you had to say. Leave it at that. If you're agenda is simply to make trouble and sour the atmosphere on the list be warned that we won't tolerate it. We won't allow members to hijack the list with personal agendas. We'll accept constructive criticism but not much more. I'd like to make it clear that posting to Goanet is a privilege and not a right. We must insist that you obey the rules when posting to the list. Our rules simply outline the proper etiquette when posting to a public group. If you can't respect the other members and follow the rules Goanet is not the place for you to contribute.
