I am filled with great pain to know that Aires has been brutally attacked along with Prajwal and the others. We wish them speedy recoveries and strength to their families to withstand the tought times. Its a great shame that Administration has not shown any zeal in bringing the culprit to books. Of course the Goa Govt will not move in earnest rather than the customary LAW WILL TAKE ITS OWN COURSE. Of course we dont need to have an investigation to know who has done this ghastly act.
Utt Goynkara took up issues which nobody would have dared to. It gave me a sense of pride that we had someone in Goa to fight for just causes. I had made it a point to meet up with Aires in Dec 08 when i m down just to congratulate him for the struggle he was engaged in. Infact he replied to my mail with a courteous thank you. Atleast The name itself " UTTH GOYNKARA"was inspiring me to rise up to save our Goa. Aires, had taken the bull by his horns. And the fruits are for all to see. Take them by the horns and your doom is nigh. Is this the govt who is for the people or only for the CHORS n GOONDAS in the GOVT OF GOA. Its a sad state of affairs in Goa today where politicians, who attack people, police stations, activists, envrironmentalists, elders, priests n tiny tots are ruling Goa as their fiefdom. Social Activists, This is a WARNING. You take up anything against these CHORS, then be ready for the Govt Onlsaught by using goondas, police to harass you.
