While I cannot reveal all secrets about my whereabouts, eating habits, fungus on my face, etc, etc in public, I could spill out some hints about my other plebian eating places around Panjim. Have you been to Ritz Bar (not Classic), Ajanta (in 1987, the rice plate cost Rs 5 there!), Allegro (better in the afternoons), Gujarat Lodge (veg rice plate, now Rs 40, kichddi at nights), Sarovar at Sant Inez (only veg), among others? Casa Moderna at the Cine Nacional Square has a very readable Rs 40 rice-plate. I am now laying an elaborate trap for you.
