Dear WildGoans & Goanetters,

WildGoa is an online network of wildlife NGOs, wildlifers, nature enthusiasts and lay persons interested in Goa’s wildlife and outdoors scene created by Harvey D’Souza, Neil Alvares & Clinton Vaz. Starting out with a birdwatching group of 15 amateurs at Miramar in 2002 this network has now grown to over 360 members today. Over the years, this network has organized various outdoor events such as birdwatching trips, treks, hikes, bike rides and nature trails. WildGoa has also conducted awareness sessions on subjects such as snake rescue, birdlife in goa, protection of frogs and turtle conservation. The group has an online forum for goa related wildlife discussions and cooperation between various citizens and NGOs. Presently run by Clinton Vaz with the assistance of Aaron Pereira, membership is free, while the groups’ ownership is shared by all its members.
