Parriker exposes his dirty spots yet again…
Goa’s most disgraceful LOO, the self-styled RSS-bakt, and Goa’s most communal former Chief Minister -- Manohar Parriker yet again gave Goans a glimpse of his dirty spots last week. It is a shame that Panjim constituency has an MLA and Goa, has an opposition leader of such a despicable caliber. Parriker displays from time to time, mostly by his double-speak -- a total bankruptcy of morals, ethics and values and is not hesitant to take the already soiled political image of Goa, further down the roads and onto the gutter levels. As, Goa was rocked by violent attacks on places of worship, an alleged rape by a son of a minister on a foreign national and the attack on two social activists (?), Manohar Parriker seized this as the best opportunity to get back to his one-time political deputy and partner-in-communal crimes -- the current Goa CM. The frustrated rantings by Parriker (long out of power despite, two dubicious back door attempts to dislodge a democratically elected government by the Goan electorate) in the media, exposed that Parriker would go to any levels to get mileage or cheap publicity by all means to salvage the slumped image of his communal party and himself. Despite sharing the bed, pillow and blanket in cosy weathers with Babush and ditching him when it suited him, Parriker, exposed to the electorate of Panjim constituency that he still needs the support of Babush to ensure he saves his deposit at the next assembly elections in Panjim. Parriker, instead of commenting on the accused, not only directed his tirade against the CM, but refused to raise an accusing finger on the present education minister, who we all know aided to ensure a smooth walk through for Parriker at the last hustings. Today, Parriker is pretending that he is feeling the pinch of the detoriating law and order situation in Goa, when he should remember that while he was the CM – Goa witnessed the worst types of communal violence since its liberation. Public memory is short; it is often said, but not as short to remember the infamous acts like forging a signature of an MLA(Philip Neri) to claim his support to cling to power illegally of a communal government that was prematurely kicked out of power, and deserted by its own MLA’s headed by the revolt of Digamber Kamat. Secondly, in the turbulent week that went by, Parriker, as is his famous habbit, tried to ruffle muddy waters in Margao Constituency. Despite having a long honeymoon with Digamber Kamat, while he was his man Friday in the communial BJP and knowing all along the dynamics of politics that goes on at Monti Dongor, Parriker played saviour along with Digamber to its residents – all in the greater glory of the BJP and its communial agenda. In the recent past Parriker cheered at Digamber’s every victory in Margao – mainly due to the support of the meticulously cultivated vote bank at Monti dongor under the saffron umbrella – those days are not far gone behind! Moreover, now since the residents of Margao’s infamous slum refuse to acknowledge the communial teachings of the likes of Parriker, suddenly the colony has become a heaven of criminals as per Parriker. Knowing well the ground realities of Margao’s detoriarating living conditions, Parriker had the cheek to comment on the Monti Dongor slums who until recently were an out-an-out BJP vote bank, nutured ably by Digamber Kamat through the high blessings of Parriker whilst he was the CM – a fact even a minor child of Margao will not deny and never forget. To Digamber Kamat’s credit goes the fact that the residents of Monti Dongor, whom he has godfathered like his own godchildren -- will vote for Digamber even if he changes his election symbol to hand from the infamous saffron coloured lotus, a fact politicians like Parriker hate to digest. There is not much difference between the CM and the LOO. Not at least in Margao. Both have played dirty politics and the result ensured that Margao constituency and its constituents suffered terribly. In short – Parriker should shut his dirty trap before making any comments on Margao! Parriker should make sure he directs all his energies on his Panjim constituency and ensures that his constituents are happy with him out there and leave Margao alone, unless if Parriker is feeling insecure of being defeated in Panjim and is considering contesting the next elections against his bête noire at Margao. Parriker has neither love for Goa nor Margao. He is hell bent on spreading the virus of his masters at the RSS, VHP, the Delhi-babus headed by the Rath Yatra - Babri Masjid demolition fame -- Advani and the Gujarat poster-monster -- Modi’s cause. He has tried hard to sow the seeds of communalism, dirty politics and hatred – which are seen through by the electorate of Margao, who ensued the defeat of the BJP and will do so at the comming elections yet again. Moreover, with the recent violence against the minorities the BJP and its frontal organizations are on the defensive. Parriker and his chorus boys, especially on internet forums like GOANET, should know well what the outcome of flaming any communal fires in Goa would have on his organization and himself. Its going to be judgment time soon! Cedric Da Costa Dubai, UAE __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
