The German girl's medical examination was conducted on last Sunday morning, less than 24 hours after she deposed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class. "GMC's medical test, conducted by panel of three doctors, confirmed that German girl was raped. And according to Goa children's act even if she had sex with consensus, it amounts to rape as she is a minor" said her lawyer.
Thereafter turbulence started brewing in Goa. It is reported in today's one local daily that Six Congress MLAs which includes three ministers have on Sunday evening has threatened Digambar Kamat that they will resign as MLAs or else they have asked him and high command to rollback the rape and lawyer attack cases. Helpless Digambar has been reported to have taken a time period till this Monday evening. Presently Digambar took off to Delhi on Sunday evening flight. On this development, one lawyer (not German girl's lawyer) says "It's now difficult for anyone to roll back either of the two cases." So let's keep watching what's in the store of Goa for Goans.
