Recently Goa Cabinet has revised the spending powers of CM, Ministers and that of other top Government officials.
As per the published information in local daily, now CM can entertain 200 persons which were previously 65 and the spending limit is enhanced from Rs 350 per person to Rs 1000 per person. What's more funny is the cabinet has not put any limit on how many parties CM can giver per day, or per week or per month or per year. This means CM can give a party worth Rs 2 lakhs in the morning and one in the evening and continue giving parties after parties. Is this not a nice way of siphoning tax payers money with out being questioned by any Goa? Best regards, Dr. U. G. Barad
