How did we survive our Childhood without the goodies of today ?
in the evenings we mostly had
"tizan" made from "nasne" and coconut juice or
"golshem"/ "konn" made of "mung",
rice and coconut. With a little milk thrown in, the snacks Freddie names
make for a perfect breakfast meal for children. Caffeine is a drug, a
stimulant: it does not belong in a child's cup. After a lifetime of juice and
milk, a typical child in the West will discover hot beverages only after
entering college. One can purchase caffeine pills over the counter, but one is
not likely to offer one to a child ! eric.
