Cip brought to my attention a mistake in the articles which I was not aware
either.
The current Governor of Goa is H.E. Dr. S. S. Sidhu, and not S. C. Jamir as
mentioned in the Portuguese article from Lusa Agency.
Best
Paulo.

Subject: [Goanet] EVENTS: All Goa: Semana de Cultura Portuguesa, etc
Dear all,
I would like to refer to the following articles:
http://www.supergoa.com/pt/read/news_noticia.asp?c_news=1054
and
http://www.agencialusa.com.br/index.php?iden=20389
both with the same news, in Portuguese, regarding the Protest to the Semana de
Cultura Portuguesa.
According to the article, it appears that the protest counted with an
attendance of 72 (Portuguese source) to 100 (source: Prabheker Sinari) people
known as Freedom Fighters and that exactly at the same time, the Governor of
Goa S. C. Jamir, was in the Portuguese Consulate attending the opening ceremony
of the week’s long programme and reiterating the support from the Government of
Goa to the Government of Portugal!!!!
It surely puts things into perspective, doesn’t it?
