Dear Goemkars,
A veritable enjoyable evening with Portuguese Fado singers and guitarists, a
foursome. Also featuring young Goan Fadista Ms. Manuela Lobo (at Semana 2)
daughter of Adv. Antonio Lobo of Mapusa, Convenor Mapusa Nagrikancho Ekvott,
Maharashtra-Goa Bar Council Member and Executive Member of Goa Su-Raj
Party.
The best rendition was the Portuguese version of 'ADEUS KORCHIA VELLAR'
joined in by a lady Goan Mando singer (name unknown at this time) who sang
the Konkani version accompanied by the Portuguese duo Fadistas to a standing
ovation of the jam packed auditorium. This snap has come out badly hence not
uploaded.
I will never regret having attended this concert. Rs. 250/- was well worth
it.
