We are celebrating Childrens' Day and we are using them as our shields to win
our war. Are we not ashamed?
When I ask for Road Safety Patrol Children for enrolment, you don't get neither
children nor the School Teacher, but when some political game is on, where
these children have come from?
Don't create Madrasas in Goa. Goan Culture and heritage is observed as very
sophisticated and with more of hospitality and less of hospitalisation(!).
Violence is unheard of in Goa just before two three years ago!.
It is a Criminal Act to misdirecct Children playing political conduits. May be
as a whole we feel proud of the act of these children, for their courage and
timely obedience. I would advocate issue of notices to the principals of such
schools whose children have participated in this campaign.
As a Teacher/Trainer I could sense that the same children will repeat this
action of unloading garbage on their own Headmaster's Table(Principal's Table)
instead of Tony's Table, if the school toilet stinks for more than one day!
Look Tony not as an individual. Tony represents the Citizens of Goa and he is
supposed to be the first citizen of Goa City of Panaji. He represents a
Constitutionally Valid Institution- A LOCAL GOVERNMENT. Would you advise your
children to place shit on BARRACK OBAMA'S TABLE? SEARCH YOUR CONSCIENCE. Any
insult and the claps thereafter do not hurt him or ridicule him. Realise that
it is a slap on your own cheeks and spit on your own face by your own children!
Let's try to protect the fabric and culture of Goa as it has been handed over
by your elders! Let us not try to import and implement/impose 'dangerous
designs' wrotting the rest of India. Why people love Goa. It is not the sun,
sand and sea. It is the nature of the Goan people and their traditional values
of hospitality. It is the global outlook of Goans that has given a special
status to Goa in the Indian Map.
LET'S NOT ALLOW DAMAGE TO THE CULTURE AND SENTIMENTS AND BEHAVIOUR OF OUR
CHILDREN. Let them grow in their own normal traditional way.
