Adult raping minors and minors raping adults ?
After reading the subjectline, I am sure most of you must said..
‘What rubbish you are talking about?’
Read on..
How often we must have heard that a minor has been raped (by an adult)?
Don’t go too far, just take the most recent sensational cases in Goa.
Anjuna rape/murder case, German Minor rape case, Ponda school girl gang raped
case, Raia school girl rape case etc etc. (all the above alleged rapists are in
the age group 20-27).
Now, have you ever heard the vice-versa?
i.e. Minors raping adults?
Most of you will say ‘ No way’!
Yet, some of you may say ‘It’s only possible in Arab countries’
Well, you are right there.
Recently, it seems there was a news item in ‘Arab Times’ about the shocking
story of rape by a 13 year old Arab Boy on a 27 year old Goan maid.
The maid was employed in a Kuwaiti household (Surra) and the 13 year old boy
was the son of her sponsor. The maid reported the incidence to her sponsor who
in turn became furious. ‘my son is too young to rape a woman’ says the father.
She eventually had to take shelter in Indian Embassy which runs a shelter for
runaway maids,
The maid wants to return to Goa and does not wish to file a police complaint.

Now, some one please tell me, is that possible?
I mean 13 year old minor raping an adult?
If you ask me, I would say ‘ yes, it is possible, particularly in Arab
countries’
How come?
I was in my study room
This lady from the next door just returned from Gulf (Kuwait) after 2 years-
her first ‘Viaj’. She was telling all about her Kuwait experience to my mother
and another lady in our kitchen. You won’t believe.. this is what I over
heard..
“ … Zannai mugo, mhoje Kuvetti maddamicho bara orsancho cheddo go, kitem
samgom? Tacho edo voddlo asa tiltlo mhojea ghovacho pasun nam.. ‘
...and they all burst into laughter.
As for me, I understood the joke many years later.
