What about the resident Comrade on Goanet? I suspect he will shoot an ejaculate from Perfusser Puniyani with clinching evidence that this was actually a secret RSS plot. The ineptitude and amateur manner of Indian law enforcement agencies AFTER the attacks defies description. Professional Indian onlookers can be seen milling around the Taj and Oberoi, cops can be seen wandering aimlessly. It looks like one merry tamasha. Is anyone in charge? The entire optics inspires great embarrassment. Manmohan has made the usual noises about how he will catch the perpetrators. Ha ha ha. The Islamic radicals must be laughing their asses off while sipping chai in an outhouse in Karachi. I predict that we will have a deluge of platitudes about Mumbai's "great spirit" and the Mumbaikar's "resilience." Barkha will be nominated for a Padma Bhushan for her "brave reporting" and Rajdeep given a consolation prize by the Lions Club of Ghatkopar (E) for his histrionics. Anybody can screw India at a place and time of their choosing. The Islamic radicals have reduced Indians to impotent, cowering bystanders. The insurgents in the northeast have us beat. Areas of Kerala and Karnataka are effectively off-limits to Hindus. But there is one place and one people the Indians have successfully screwed thus far - our Goa and us Goans, respectively.
